Baron's Life: Actually it is in the Colville National Forest near the Metalline Falls area. The photo was taken last October on a very rainy day. This stretch of forest service road was a nice ride, others required a little more attention given that I have the KLR's tires setup for road service. We (Charlie and I) are planning on going back up into that neck of the woods this year as well.
Lady Ridesalot: I think that curiosity is what motivates many of us who ride, perhaps a "Well Known secret" among us Two Wheelers that cagers can't appreciate; the addictive drive to go just a little bit further down the road (or trail as the case may be) to see what is around the bend or distant horizon. We can't help ourselve can we?
Charlie: Maybe someday the KLR will look as fine as that ole XL. The way I baby it though, I doubt it.
When we seek for connection, we restore the world to wholeness. Our seemingly separate lives become meaningful as we discover how truly necessary we are to each other.

What a beautiful picture. It makes me want to wonder down that road to see what's beyond. Thanks for sharing.
Man that is a cool looking old XL. The KLR is ok too I guess.

Cheers and Happy Easter mate
That XL is just cute! And the fact that its old and still stands out is amazing. I like. The roads look good for a ride in the woods.
